About California Tyres SRL

The company California Tyres SRL was formed through the division of California SRL, a company founded in 1993, and its field of activity is the import and sale of tyres manufactured in Russia.
In 2009, we began our collaboration with the tyre manufacturer KAMA.
Our trade in Russian tyres expanded, and since 2010 we have been the official dealer of KAMA tyres in Romania. Our goal is to promote these tyres throughout Romania, relying on their impeccable quality.

Our company's policy is built on customer focus and specialised staff.
Thanks to the quality services and products we offer, we have built a portfolio of more than 2,000 customers from a wide range of sectors. Among them: H.Essers N.V., major local and national transport companies, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, forestry directorates, waste management companies, tyre resellers and distributors, and others.
Our services are offered equally to end users. To this end, we have developed our online presence as well as our showroom in Baia Mare.

The Kama brand is owned by Nizhnekamskshina, the largest company in the Russian tyre industry. Its main field of activity is the production of tyres for cars, lorries, vans, buses and agricultural machinery, as well as tyre accessories: inner tubes and flaps. More than 120 sizes are currently produced.
In the global ranking of tyre companies, Nizhnekamskshina is in 20th place out of 98 companies.
More than 13 million KAMA tyres are produced every year, accounting for over a third of the Russian tyre market, and more than 20% of them are exported to countries such as England, the Netherlands, Germany, Iraq, Finland, Cuba, Romania and Bulgaria – over 70 countries in total.

The results of pre-sale tests and independent tests demonstrate the undeniable quality of these tyres.
Volkswagen carried out an audit at Nizhnekamskshina – the manufacturer of KAMA tyres – while looking for a tyre supplier for its new production line in Kaluga. The specialists assessed the entire technological process, with an emphasis on the Pirelli tyre production division, which scored 89 out of a possible 100 points. Similar audits were also carried out at the Yaroslavsky and Voronezhsky tyre plants.

Kama tyres are designed to save up to 15% of a vehicle's average fuel consumption, reducing operating costs.	Kama has designed its tyres using state-of-the-art materials that prevent wear and overheating, extending their service life.	The triangular multi-layer construction of Kama tyres allows the load capacity to be increased by up to 8% compared with conventional tyres.
